Max Inspiration at Club Max Youth Gym: 10.30 - 11.30am Saturdays

To help you and your child enjoy your visits to our Centre we have produced the following step-by-step guide.

In the interests of SAFETY, SECURITY, COURTESY AND COMFORT, will you please note the following advice and instructions:

First Steps

  • It is advisable for the parent / carer who will be supervising that child to have an induction on how the kit works.
  • If you would like to visit the centre to assess suitability for your child please ring 871146 to arrange a time where you will be given a tour of the facilities and may be shown how the kit operates.
  • This may be done with or without the child in attendance.

Pre-Booking Sessions

  • Sessions can be pre-booked up to 8 days in advance.
  • As places are strictly limited pre-booking is advised to ensure a place.
  • If you intend to bring a sibling with you then a place must also be booked, and paid, for that child.
  • We aim to start all sessions promptly at the advertised times.
  • Please arrive in plenty of time if you need to either book in, pay for your session or get changed as there may be a queue at reception. 

Arrival at Leisure Centre

  • Designated disabled car-parking slots are available and clearly marked.
  • Enter the building via the automatic sliding doors. 

Reception

  • Report to reception upon entering the building.
  • If you are a D/D Club MAX member show your membership card and receive your ticket receipt.
  • Please remember to bring your membership card with you on all visits.
  • If you are a Cash payer the session will cost £2.50 per child.
  • If you require the use of the lift the receptionist will give you the key which you will need to sign for.

Changing Rooms and Lockers

  • Changing Rooms are situated on the first floor.
  • Lockers cost £1 which is refundable at the end of your session
  • We would appreciate it if all Jackets, Coats, Holdalls, Sports Bags etc are kept in these lockers to avoid trip hazards in the Club MAX gym.
  • There are some small lockers in the Gym Store cupboard which are suitable for Watches, phones etc.

Club MAX Gym

  • Initially all children need to be supervised by a parent or carer.
  • A qualified member of staff will be in attendance during each session to offer help and guidance.
  • Suitable clothing and clean footwear must be worn at all times. Please ensure that the training shoes that you use in the gym are clean and free from mud or grass.
  • Participants are advised to bring a small towel and have a plastic water bottle with them to make sure they keep hydrated at all times.
  • Fizzy drinks and food of any description are not allowed. 

Club MAX dance mats

  • Initially all children need to be supervised by a parent or carer.

Splash Time : leisure pool - small inflatables, waves, slide & water jets -

                         Monday to Wednesday 9.30 -10.30am

                         5 to 16 year olds

 

Multi -Play : Sports hall - bouncy castle, play equipment & music

                     Monday 1.30pm - 3.30pm ( 2.30pm to 3.30pm Quiet time Multi Play - no music)

                     5 to 16 year olds

 

Climbing : Sports hall - Climbing wall activities

                    Monday 12pm to 1pm

                    5 to 16 year olds

 

Cycling : All Weather Pitch

                Thursday 11.00am - 12pm

                5 to 16 year olds

 

Club Max : Youth Gym

                   Thursday 10am to 10.45am

                   6 to 16 year olds

 

Football Coaching : (indoor) Friday

                                    12pm to 1pm under 16s

                                    1pm to 2pm over 16s
