Barrow Sports Council
The aim of Barrow Borough Sports Council, and of the sports development team who services them, is to increase participation, opportunities and provision for everyone, regardless of age, gender, ability, social class or race, to enjoy and reach their full potential within sport and physical activity in Barrow Borough.
The team works in partnership with national, regional and local sport organisations, voluntary and private sectors, schools and other relevant partners to provide a range of outdoor and indoor sports and leisure activities for the whole community. They can provide advice on sources of sports funding.
